The City of Cavdoreal is an underground metropolis located under the city of ███████, in Teknea. Cavdoreal is the home of a vaulted underground religious cult living in the cave city built in the 1950s. Which was more than 70 years ago according to the date markers on the oldest constructions found on the site. Sources claim the group has existed for centuries and is known as the Order of the Great Fisherman. They worship the Founder of Cavdoreal as a savior from an event we know as the Night in Scarlet.
The City of Cavdoreal's history claims to start in the wake of a global event known as la Nuit Rouge (Meaning: the Red Night). Where a great fire from Beyond descended upon the the material world to purge it from its sins.
The reason of the existence of such a city is unknown, but it is hypothesized to be some kind of backup city, an underground bunker of sorts for the selected few who came down here and left their mark on this abandoned metropolis.
Name of CavdorealAccording to one theory, the name Cavdoreal derives from cave d'or royal (Which means Royal Gold Cellar or most likely Royal Gold Cave).
Population of CavdorealCavdoral's population consists mostly of homeless families who were forced out of their homes during the great fire of the Night in Scarlet, and cult members who followed the holy man down into the unknown abyss in hopes of rebuilding society. The Order of the Great Fisherman claimed they are the only ones worthy enough to live in the caves beneath the streets and refuses to allow anyone else inside. The people of ██████ know nothing of this underground civilization as most believe all of the people who vanished died in the great fire. Some of the children born and raised inside of Cavdoral describe it as a community of lost souls where everyone is desperate for acceptance, love, and shelter.
