SHATTERED WORLDS UNIVERSE

​The Arthyan Universe has existed for over 13 billion years. Nestled amongst the Veil of Madness within the Yggdrasiel's Spiral, it's filled with an extensive array of creatures, races, civilizations, and other strange beings existing in the Great Dark Beyond. From the great Cyclopean cities of the planet Valkarune, home of the strange civilization of monstrous "cat" people, to the nightmarish creatures lurking on the eldritch looking planet of Hades.
​​Research Mages have occasionally monitored Hades emitting large lightning storms of otherworldly lights amongst the planet's surface.​ Beyond the observable view, researchers have observed what they deem could be theoretically a micro-solar system surrounding the wandering body, although this is unconfirmed. Behind the strange celestial body, through what can only be described as space rubble from two colliding planets, lies what be be theorized as 'rifts' in the skin of the universe itself, where the fabric of space-time seems to be fraying away from the rest of the universe. 
These rifts are currently inactive and were not detected until after Hades was discovered in 1931, but there've been several reports stating what sounded like screams coming from these spatial rifts when the rifts are active.​ There've also been reports of seeing demonic creatures entering and exiting these same rifts. It is unknown how these rifts work exactly, but at least three of these rifts lead back to Arthya, and all of them pass close to the South Polaris.
